I have signs not responsible for dry rot and if my fault to pay no more than 10 times the charges. do they protect me from a lady taking me to court for 500.00 for a dres that is 60m years old? how pays to have the dress tested do I need a laywer if this is not settled in meditation?

My belief is that anyone who buys a 60 year-old dress is assuming all risks that it may not be in good shape. I assume the buyer had a chance to examine it. If not, unless there were express warranties given regarding the condition of the dress, my opinion is the seller is not liable. Were I the seller I would not pay nor would I mediate. As to a lawyer, there is no such thing as a $500 lawsuit involving a lawyer. Represent yourself with the evidence you have described in your post.
