Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in New York

Discrimination?

After bowling for over 2 hours with a large group a friends a security guard came over to me and said I had to put a shirt on, I was wearing a tank top. There we women all over wearing tank tops and I was told because I was a man I couldn't wear one.I'm very clean and was wearing an athletic tank to play this sport) Isn't that discrimination. We could not find a dress code anywhere on the premis or on the web site.

Re: Discrimination?

Since it is a private entity they can legally set whatever dress code they want. Discrimination law does not play a role in this issue.
