Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New York

frozen account
My account was frozen because of a credit card bill I called the lawyer to ask him how I can get my bank account back. He saids that I can't do nothing until I get a lawyer. Does he have the right to tell me to get a lawyer? because he is prolonging the situation my bank is chaging me with all kinds of bounced checks. its so wrong what he is doing to me.

well...the frozen account is because you probably defaulted before. A lawyer knows how to legally attempt to remove the restraint.
