Gym Membership

My gym Super Fitness sold there membership to Planet Fitness and has closed the building it was in. I called to cancel and they are giving me a hard time. My problem is the new gym is extremely small and a longer drive also there current membership price is $10 a month and I am in a contract that costs $26 a month. Should i be able to cancel this contract for breach as it is no longer in the same building and i would be paying more than the members at the other gym.

Read your agreement. There are probably steps that you must take to cancel written in it that require more than a phone call.
