Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Child Support

2 years ago my daughter came to live with me after her mother kicked her out of her home. I was paying $600.00+ a month in child support. I attempted at one time to get my ex-wife to sign a document that a lawyer compiled waiving my requirement to pay support and in turn, my ex wife pay support. My ex wife refused to sign the document and now after 2 years hasn't paid a dime in support to my daughter. I don't need this money - but my daughter does, for college, auto etc. What are my options? Small claims on behalf of my daughter?

Re: Child Support

What is your daughter's age? If she is under 21 years and in college then you may be entitled to some support. You need to go to Family Court though.
