Legal Question in Family Law in New York

Dad is taking marriage/joint money out of the country potentially leaving my MOM

Mom (64yo) has been possibly misdiagnosed with Schizophrenia for 35 years. "dad (73y/o)" has been shiphoning a substaintial amount of money from their marriage (42 years) to his 'homeland (where he currently is for a month)' & probably his son (my half brother)over the past few years. The home my parents bought (20 years ago)& live in turns out to be only in my "dad's" name & mortgage will be paid off in a few months (less than three). I am GRAVELY CONCERNED that she will be homeless & pennyless in short order if his actions follow the path I have uncovered. I'm in SHOCK to FINALLY come to the realization that my mom is NOT ill but has been drugged and my whole life has been a decietful lie by his actions. Where can I turn to (1) stop him continueing (2) possibly recovery of assests removed while she is more in shock than me?

If what you are saying is true, your mother needs your protection and help! If true, she should immediately file for divorce seeking to recover all marital assets which have been converted by her husband. I urge you to arrange for a consultation with a divorce attorney.

You may contact me at 212-208-2470 for a referral.
