Legal Question in Family Law in New York

I live in Staten Island NY and my Ex and father of my % children lives in brooklyn NY. My 4 younger children reside with me and go to extra cirricular cheer class and competitions. we recently went to court nd asked that he also help with these activities and he and I were told that he is not obligigated to pay more than his child support fo activities

I pay completely for them . outside of child support. Can I exclude him from them as I do everything regarding it on my own, both financially plus time, to and from practice etc. he does nothing in regards to their activities?

A. No. Child support and a non-custodial parent's participation in the events of the child's life are independent. Furthermore, by excluding your ex you are only punishing the child.
