Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New York

paralegal practice

I was taught that paralegals can go with clients in administrative type settings - can they represent clients in employment administrative hearings, in small claims court, at traffic court, at social security administration, at workers compensation? How far can a paralegal act without it being considered ''practice of law?''

Anyone can go, but only attorneys or licensed representatives can represent.
