can a contract be signed before the expiration date ?

I'm afraid I don't understand your question. You'll have to be a little more clear and a little more detailed.

If by expiration date, you mean the date when the contract expires, the contract would, by definition, have to be signed before that date. So, please re-post your question, making clear what you are asking.
