Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

I was fired for going out of the building of the company to make a phone call.I didn't have any warning and it was almost my third month in that company. What rights do I have? The company is a corporation. Any corporation has the right to make business and if they make any mistakes they are forgiven . I don't have any saving to eat or pay the rent. I really need a legal help. please at least tell me what to do or where to go to be listen to.

I was fired one day after the huracane at one o'clock in the morning. I couldn't sleep well the day of the storm, did'nt have power to even cook. Even so I when to work the following day after the huracane. What I'm looking for is that I was let to defend myself and that the company gave my a second chance.

thanks a lot! I'm desperate.

Assuming the decision was not discriminatory, the company had the legal right to terminate you. I suggest you file for unemployment as soon as possible.

Good luck!
