Legal Question in Employment Law in New York

Is it legal to reduce rate of pay?

I have been working part time for a very large company at the rate of $25.00/hour since June 2006. I took on more hours in the form of office work and manual labor March 2007 at the same rate of pay. Now my company is saying I am going to only be making $15.00/hour for the extra work. Without any notice or explanation. Just a paycheck with less money now. Is this legal?

Your question is unclear. Have they cut your pay for all hours to $15/hour or just the "extra" hours. Also, are you ever working more than 40 hours/week?

Answering these questions will be helpful.
