Legal Question in Employment Law in New York
I worked in a public sshool in New York and one day out of the blue, the principal told me I needed to submit my resignation over violation of a deadline that had never been comunicated to me nor is included in writing in the school handbook. I did so, and now the school claims that because I did, I voluntarily resigned and cannot get unemployment. Do I have any recourse?
