Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New York

Lead Pain

We are renting an old home (50 years) and have some paint peeling back and chipping to the plaster where water is leaking in. The landlord did a ''quick fix'' by covering it up, but the water came back after the thaw and re-exposed the crack. As a matter of fact there is quite a bit of paint peeling. I am concerned about lead as I have 2 small children under 4. she is not very quick to get things fixed. I also realized she never gave me a lead paint disclosure or order form. What are my rights? What must she do? What are the ramifications of her not getting us a lead paint disclosure?
