Legal Question in Legal Ethics in New York

My niece just passed the NY Bar exam and now have to file this application where she has to mention all her employment. While in school we found out later she needed $$ and she worked as an exotic dancer for 4 month and also paid taxes from this job. She thinks that if she would not mention it on her application everything would be ok, otherwise she would not be admitted because of this immoral character job. Please help us to decide what she should do and what would be consequences in both cases? Do they really checking every job by social security of the applicant? Its very urgent because she is freaking out,

Thank you.
