Legal Question in Workers Comp in New York
back surgery
I had back surgery in April 2008 and three weeks after my disc replacement - the bone above the disc fx. I am not healing and am in pain. My surgeon wants to release me and does not want to admit he should of never done the disc surgery. I also have osteoperosis, which he did not check before surgery. Says he is very busy and does not want to deal with the paper work. How long will work comp keep paying me. When do I have to sign off. Doctor is pushing me.
