Legal Question in Family Law in North Carolina

Child Support payment percentage

My ex-husband was ordered by the court to pay child support in the amount of 196.00 a month. At the time he was a full time student. Now he is working and making 47000 a year. He has agreed to pay more child support without having to go back to court as long as a written agreement is made. What is a fair amount for one child? Is there a certain form I could use?
