Internet fraud

I did send money over to a guy which did advertise on u-bid for a camcoder. This guy did live in Spain. This camcorder never arrived. I sent my money through western union by using my master card. Is their any way I can get my money back? I try already western union, but they tell me that they are not responsible, even as one of the operators from Western union told me afterwards that they did have already negative expierience with this guy in the past.

There is nothing you can do short of going to Spain and suing him there. This is one of the pitfalls of doing business on the Web. Use an intermediary in the future to prevent this type of fraud.
