botched informent ?

the charge is trafficing 2 f5 2 f3 . informent on two seperate times tested positive for cocane. and was a paid informent and still was dealing and useing. is there any thing wrong with that?

Your question asks whether the fact that the informant tested positive for cocaine at the same time that he was acting as an informant for the police makes a difference in the case. The best answer is that this fact, if proven at trial, will be considered by the jury in determining whether to believe or not believe the informant.

The question you should be asking is: "Besides the informant, what evidence do the police have to convict me?" If the answer to that question is "nothing" then you may have a case that should go to trial. If the answer is "lots of evidence" then you should be considering a plea bargain.

The other question you should be asking yourself is: "Am I confident that my attorney is working on my behalf?" If the answer to that question is yes, then you are all set. If the answer is no, then you need to talk with your attorney to find out what the problem is, or get a new attorney.
