Legal Question in Criminal Law in Ohio

my friend borrowed $2,000.00 from me we signed a promissory note with a witness she paid one payment of$100.00 and nothing since then i asked her several times to pay me,she keeps cumming up with excuses not to pay me she works in a hospital. what can i do?did she break the law also?

Probably not. This sounds more like a civil case where a judge an enter an order declaring she is in breach of contract and then enforce the order. Unless there is some evidence that she took the money with the intent to deprive you, then she likely did not commit theft.
