Legal Question in DUI Law in Ohio

I have a friend who just got an OVI ia Ohio,he was convicted and sentenced 180 days suspend 177.He did the three days and put on probation,he violated that twice and was sentenced for the 177 days, then put on work release but only went 1 day. will they come and get him to do the time?

Probably yes. It depends how angry the judge is. For sure there will be a bench warrant issued which means if he gets picked up for anything else they will surely take him to lockup. Also, he will be obligated to pay any suspended fine. Whether the judge orders police to get him right away I can not say. Your friend needs an attorney who can arrange for surrender and perhaps reduce the consequences of his ill-advised behavior.
