divorce

my sister was abandoned by her husband more than 4 years ago.

he provided no support of any kind

now he is asking for almost $10,000

to get his name off the deed the property was originally $70,000 my sister made the down payment with money from propert sold prior to their marriage can he successfully do this ?

Was there a divorce? Is so, they need to refer back to the separation agreement. If not, she should seek legal advice.
