filing for a divorce: hiding assets

I am planning on filing for divorce. I have no job and rely on husband's income. My husband is moving his businesses into our son's name to prevent me from attaching them to the divorce and to hide income. Can he do this?

No. If you plan on filing, you should do so right away. Your attorney should file a motion for a temporary restraining order that will prevent your husband from transferring any assets. Of he has already transferred assets, the court needs to be made aware of that fact as well.
