Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Ohio

Back rent owed

I have to write a letter to the court denying that I owe money to my daughters landlord. All I told him was that I would help her out if I could. I did pay security and 2 months rent then I had to quit. Now I am being sued for 1400 dollars for her back rent and I never lived there. Do you have any ideal what form I need to get to write out the paper to the court.

Thank You

Re: Back rent owed

You cannot write a letter to the Court. You can only appear in person and testify. Affidavits are only admissable if you are out of state and cannot appear at the Hearing. Otherwise, you must be there in person.
