Re: medical bills
If you do not pay medical bills and a lawsuit is filed against you and a judgment is awarded by the court, then your wages can be attached and property attached and sold to satisfy the bills. There are limits as to how much can be garnished and what assets can be attached. Depending on the amount of your bills you may want to consult with an attorney that specializes in collection law to determine the best way to avoid the expense of a lawsuit and all that is involved in defending the case. Hopefully this information is helpful to you and good luck.
