Legal Question in Health Care Law in Ohio

practicing nutrition in ohio?

Ohio has very strict nutrition laws: if one is not a registered dietician it is very hard to practice nutrional consuling in ohio. I would very much like to practice nutritional consuling as an amateur, but it seems like there is nothing i can do. My question for you, is what can i legally practice? I figure free speech has to allow me some leeway in giving nutritional adivce to people. If I ran a non-for-profit based on donations, would that get around the rules? If i ran a website giving advice thru emails, does ohio law apply to my cyberspace?

If you can't give me a specific answer, a web-site or book on the subject would be very helpful too.

thanks!

Mike
