Legal Question in Employment Law in Ohio

If an employer decides to let you go immediately following a 2 week notice, does this mean termination? I would have worked the remaining 2 weeks, but they chose to let me go before hand. Now their requesting I re-pay my bonus (pro-rated) back to them, but my contract clearly states that if I'm terminated then I don't have to repay it. I'm wondering if I'm required to repay my bonus because they decided to terminate me 30 minutes after giving my 2 weeks notice (and I didn't get 2 weeks pay).

The only way to answer for sure is for an attorney to look at the "contract". If what you say is true then you could make the argument that you were at least terminated for those two weeks and thus you get to keep the bonus. They would then have to sue you to get it back and, depending on the amount, it may not be worth going to court for it because they are required to have an attorney.
