Legal Question in Employment Law in Ohio

Pre-Employment Questions

I received a call regarding a resume I sent in to a company for employment. It's what they called prescreening questions. Is it legal to ask me if I use tobacco products or smoke? I don't but always thought this was illegal to ask.

Yes, as it is not a medical-related inquiry, it is legal and an employer can refuse to hire someone who uses tobacco products.
