Broken Neck & Brain Damage & Nerve Damage. Head trauma @ business/restaraunt. Family doctor refused to give me MRI`s on my neck and head. Accident was 3 yrs ago. 6 months ago my EEG was abnormal, brain dmg. 3 weeks ago an MRI on my neck..Neck had been broken, healed on its own. Another test showed RNS-Nerve dmg. My neurologist did all this. Question: My family doc would not run extra tests and said people try to do this for injury settlement money. I had to go to a neuro myself to get help. Should I sue my family doc as well? Documented 7 times I said something more was wrong and he said no. All 7 are on record.

You imply that you have another injury case going, when you say "Should I sue my family doc as well?" There are several factual questions that need to be investigated before an answer can be given, as Ohio has a one-year statute of limitations (the time to bring a lawsuit) on medical malpractice. Plus, your post seems to say that EEG was abnormal 2 1/2 years after the injury.

You need to have both a factual investigation and a medical review by legal counsel, to fully advise of legal possibilities.
