survivor deed

My father an I bought a house 4 yrs ago. At the time of purchase his name is on the mortgage, however we both paid the mortgage, I have paid 80% monthly. There is a survivors deed to me at the time of his death. He has terminal cancer. What will I need to do to assure I will retain ownership on the house?

Complete ownership will pass to you by law at your father's death because of the survivorship deed. You will need to record an affidavit with an original death certificate.
