Death Certificate Authenticity
My uncle passed away last year. His death certificate has listed the woman he was living with as a spouse and marital status at the time of death as married, they weren't legally married. However this has been notorized by the funeral home and a local registrar. Is this considered falsification of a legal document? And what would be the procedure for getting this amended?

If you can prove they weren't married you would have to petition orphans court to amend the certificate.
