Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Ohio

Am I an entitled beneficiary?

My father had an affair on his wife with my mother. He remained with his wife until his death last year. However, we remained close throughout my entire life. He paid my mother child support and for my high school tution. I was overseas with the military when he passed away last year. His wife and 4 children with her do know about me, but we have never met. My father was rather wealthy and owned several properties. Is there any way I am entitled to anything of his if I have proof of him as being my father? Sorry, I may come off blunt, but that is not the case, I am just trying to keep this short and to the point. He passed away exactly one year ago by the way. Please help with any useful information. Thank you.

Re: Am I an entitled beneficiary?

You will have to come forward. You are a next of kin, and if he did not provide for you otherwise, you could be entitled to a share of his estate.
