Legal Question in Employment Law in Oregon

what can I do when I resigned from a job, but now that employer is telling potential employers that they fired me? I have no proof that I resigned.

how come you are not keeping a proof of your resignation? Is ur employer (new/potential) is asking for resignation letter? if no, u should not worry
