Legal Question in Personal Injury in Oregon

i had a accident over a year ago and had full coverage, there were two other cars involved i hit into the second one and the first car was just bumped and i was at blame, now over a year later the first car 3 "family memebers" are suing me for thousnads of dollars each, or so i gather form the papers from their attorney, what is expected of me and what can i do, i dont mind paying for their uncovered medical bills, but they are only a small part of this claim and there wasnt any injury to them just acheck up from what ive seen ..

You said you were insured for this accident. You should IMMEDIATELY contact whomever was your insurance co at the time of the accident, and tell them you've been served with legal papers. Time is critical here, since you have a limited period to respond, to avoid defaulting. Your insurance co will arrange to hire (and they'll pay for it) a lawyer to defend you. It's part of what you buy insurance for. But CALL them right away, and find out who to send or fax the legal papers to. Your insurer and the lawyer they hire for you can fill you in on the details of the process.
