Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Pennsylvania

Debts and Wage Garnishment

I owned a business in the state of Ohio. It was an s-corp and myself and wife were two of the four stockholders. We are now out of business and left a huge amount of debt. My wife and I were forced to file personal BK as we had to give personal guarantees on many of the debts. Two of the creditors have filed a motion to not have their debts discharghed. Since the business closing my wife and I moved to PA for employment reasons. My question is this, in the worst case scenario if these debts (which are not taxes) are deemed not dischargeable, can they garnish my wages being I am now a resident of PA?

Re: Debts and Wage Garnishment

Wages are exempt from garnishment in Pennsylvania with few exceptions.

The biggest argument for non-dischargeability is fraud. Business debt rarely involves fraud but lately a number of creditors have been trying to stretch the limits.
