Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Pennsylvania

Wrongful Possesion

After being incarcerated, there was a verbal agreement my son could live in my mobile home until I got out. He said he would finish making the payments and it would be there when I got out. Was in my name at time. Three months later I got a letter from the finance company telling me they would reposses if I didn't sign it over to his wife at the time. Can I make them give me back my money invested.

Re: Wrongful Possesion

This is not a civil rights question, but rather one having to do with your relationship with your finance company and your son.

You don't say how it is that the finance company came to believe that the mobile home belonged to your son's wife (are you saying that they took the position that the mobile home or the finance agreement had to be signed over?).

You also aren't telling me how many payments you made vs. how many they made, and other pertinent information. Basically, it is unclear to me how a finance company can determine the ownership--that is a dispute between you and your son and his wife.

There's something you're not telling me about this situation. Contact me if you would like to discuss further and I will help you to figure it out.
