Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Pennsylvania

Credit card debt

I am divorced and have been paying on a couple of credit cards that are about 6 or 7 years old. What is the statue of limitations in Penns. Do I need to continue paying on them as one of them is still charging me interest.

The statute of limitations in Pennsylvania is 4 years. If you have been paying all along, though, the statute hasn't yet started to run. In my view it runs from the first date that the credit card company had the right to sue but there is an argument that it starts again with any payment that you make on the card.
