extradition

my wife is in jail in Va, bad check in Pa it has been almost 90 days, state still hasnt picked her up. what is the extradition law regarding this in PA?

does she get released if not picked up in that 90 day window?

More to the point, it would seem, would be the applicable law of Virginia regarding such matters, which normally requires that a defendant being held for extradition to another state must be released within appoximately 72 hours from Virginia detention if not picked up by law enforcement authorities from the other requesting jurisdiction.

In other words, it would seem that on these facts, Virginia should've released your wife approximately 87 days ago.
