Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Pennsylvania

equal rights

is it illegal to treat an employee differently because of national origin? i am american born and i do not recieve the benefits that employees born outside of the u.s. do. example, they get free transportation to and from work and suffer no consequences for not showing up for work. i on the other hand, get written citations if i am late and also do not drive but must find my own transportation.

Re: equal rights

This definitely sounds like a case of "reverse" discrimination based upon national origin. In fact, there really is no such thing as "reverse" discrimination in the law, because ANY discrimination against ANY kind of person--even if they are the majority, not the minority, is illegal discrimination. You should call our offices and set up an appointment at your earliest opportunity so that we can discuss your recovery.
