Legal Question in Discrimination Law in Pennsylvania

uncomforatble work environment

I work for an assisted living community in PA. Our male administrator took the male residents to Hooters for lunch. Can't something be done about this ?

Re: uncomforatble work environment

You asked about an inappropriate work event.

You are correct that the event was probably inappropriate. This may have been an isolated incident or it may be one in a series of events.

In either case this must reported to your employer's compliance hotline. If there is none or if there is no action then you should escalate this matter higher up the management chain. If nothing else you should report it to the oversight agency for your facility.

You are subject to whistle-blower protection for reporting legitimate grievances. If there is any fallout from this matter you should contact any attorney to assist in protecting your rights.

Regards,

Roger
