Legal Question in Family Law in Pennsylvania

Child support decisions in pa

After an exceptions hearing what is the amount of time that a judge has to render his decision. The court is telling me that there is no time frame but according to Rule 1931(3) ''prompt decisions''of the PA code it says 30 days or a maximum of 60 with extension by order. If I am correct, how do I make the court comply with the applicable law?

In any jurisdiction it is going to be a "reasonable time" standard.

Without harassing or making too frequent calls, you may inquire of the judge's assistant "when might I expect a decision." If you have an attorney, let him do it.
