payment on judgement

i had a civil judgement ordered against me and need to know if i make small monthly payments if the plantiff has to accept what i give or can he refuse payment and serve papers or sheriff sale me?

You can make periodic payments if the plaintiff agrees. If plaintiff does not agree he/she can start sheriff collection proceedings. Your best approach is to contact the plaintiff & try to work out a payment plan that both of you can agree to. Plaintiff is entitled to 6% per year interest, so you may want to offer to pay interest at least that much or perhaps more to entice plaintiff to accept a payment plan.
