Legal Question in Employment Law in Pennsylvania

Felonies and Hiring

In Pennsylvania, what is the law regarding hiring of workers in health care when they have a felony? This person in question is considering a career as a medical assistant, X-Ray technician, or nurse's aide and has a felony from last year. Before she invests the time and money in education in these fields, she wants to know if her record will be a hindrance.
