Legal Question in Employment Law in Pennsylvania

What can I do?

My wife was a branch bank manager. She worked for them for 12 years and worked her way up from PT teller to Branch manager.

She was fired without cause for an alleged fraud...refunding fees to an employee. She was not aware that this was against company policy due to understaffing and over working.

Can she press to get her job back or at least sue for anything? It seams there should be labor or civil rights violation.

Please help.

Re: What can I do?

From the information you have provided there does not appear to be any legal recourse. There are two avenues for her though. 1) Speak with an attorney directly an examine if the cause for the termination was the immediate action or wa there some underlying discriminatory cause. 2) Appeal through the proper channels at the employer that this wasn't a fraud but a misinformed decision.
