Legal Question in Personal Injury in Pennsylvania

i suffered neck injuries in a motor vehicle accident -- no scarring or surgery, but went to an emergency room immediately and had 5 months of therapy. Is there a rule of thumb for how much I can expect to win in PA? I've heard 3 x medical bills, so I should take home that minus the medical bills minus the legal fees?

there is no rule. It is best for the evaluation to be made by your attorney who is most familiar with your case.

There is no simple formula, Experienced personal injury lawyers consider many variables when evaluating cases. If you want to save an atty fee and fight the fight yourself, you will most likely not get as much (net) as you would if you had the right bulldog working for you! Of course, I'm biased! Call if you want to discuss.

There is no easy way to evaluate this. You should consult an attorney as soon as possible.

Only your lawyer who is familiar with the incident can really accurately predict what you'll get...it is a mix of the accident, the injury, the limits on the policies.

I hope you have full tort !! If not you may have a big fight to get anything.....
