Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

Apartment Misrepresentation

Can a realtor, give you a price of a 4 bedroom apartment, even though it is for two people, and then just before one of the lease signers signs the contract say ''just so you know, two of the bedrooms will be locked''? Can they still lock two of the doors, espescially since we will have to pay for the utilities and space of these two rooms. The realtor, had said that it was ''four bedrooms for 1200.00'', then changed the initial information, after we could have looked for somthing else? Furnishing were bought for these extra rooms, and we will not get the money back. Can anything be done to keep these two rooms open? Thanks for any help that is provided.

Re: Apartment Misrepresentation

A real estate agent or broker should not be misleading you or be proving false information to

induce you to rent a property. If you did not sign the lease - dont sign it - get another realtor or look in the paper for an apartment.
