Legal Question in Traffic Law in Pennsylvania

Im planning on attending a comic convention and participating on a costume contest. My costume will consist with an unarmed M16A1 air rifle (With safety orange tip). If I travel to the convention with the air rifle inside of a case (Via city bus), will I have any legal issues facing the situation, concidering that its in public property?
