Unpaid Employees

A friend is being paid under the table at a small business. The owner has not paid any employees since February and most are owed more that $2,000. The employees are teenagers. Is there any way to legally make him pay?

Yes, under Federal law, state law or both. If you want to do a little research, look under "wage payment and ocllection law" and/or "Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938.:

Treble damages (i.e. triple money damages) are anticipated for severe cases like the one you describe.
