Legal Question in Criminal Law in South Carolina

child bullying

My children are victims of school bullying. County police, parents, and school officials were and are aware of the events. One of my children is accused of attacking one of the bullies. The other child has had a false comlaing filed against her. Both have been charged with assault and battery. An arbitation hearing has been scheduled. I am uncomfortable with having them to pead guilty. The bullies have not turned into victims. What are my children's rights?

Re: child bullying

How old are your children? You definitely need representation for them at the arbitration hearing, and you should not feel comfortable in allowing them to plead guilty. Please feel free to contact me about this matter, I will discuss it with you further.
