Possible Length of time for possession of a weapon

What would be the possible length of time you could get in South Carolina at the age of 18, if you were to be charged with possession of a weapon (gun) Did not belong to her, she took it away from someone else to try to keep him from getting into trouble. As it happened, she got caught with it.

There is more than one possession of a weapon charge in SC. Look for the code number (also called violation number), which would be on the ticket or warrant that she recived. That number will specify exactly which charge she received.
