how to get an misdemeander off of my record

I have a 1 offense cable TV theft on my record. I had to pay a fine of $500 for my actions. How can I get this off my record. this is stoping me from gaining employment. Can you please help me to understand.

Expungments are handled by the County Solicitor's office. You can call then to get the forms. If you have problems doing it yourself then you can talk with or hire a lawyer. Be sure to ask the solicitor's office if your particular conviction applies. You can only expunge a first offense from Magistrate Court or any City Court
